Theodolite surveying

Theodolite surveying is a way of surveying using an instrument called Theodolite. Vertical and horizontal angles are typically to be measured in construction and other civil engineering projects.

Compass surveying is very common, however there are scenarios where angular measurements using compass surveying is not feasible or practical. Theodolite technique comes in there and helps in measuring angles in vertical and horizontal planes.
